Samuel “Sammy” Albis was born in Colombia. He began his career in advertising, where he garnered several international awards for his creative campaigns. Four years ago, he moved from being a Creative Director to directing commercials full time. Since then, he has directed projects for clients such as Walmart, Dunkin’ Donuts, SapientNitro, Arnold Worldwide, LNC, and Global Hue, to name a few. His work as a director has been featured in several publications including Creativity, SHOTS, and Shoot magazine. In 2011, he was selected for Shoot Magazine’s coveted New Director’s Showcase.
Alessandra Gherardi honed her creative writing and screenwriting skills at FIU and UCLA. Before becoming a screenwriter, Alessandra worked in magazine publishing as Editor in Chief of an international luxury lifestyle magazine. Alessandra has written three feature films. Her original short film, Chub, was listed as a quarterfinalist in the Blue Cat Screenwriting Competition. Her feature film, The Great Wide Open, is currently in development.
